No data collection
AetherFocus does not collect analytics, usage data, crash reports, or any personally identifiable information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking of any kind.
Privacy Policy
Your data stays yours.
AetherFocus is built with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Local storage only
All preferences, notes, tasks, and settings are stored locally on your device using macOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your machine and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Microphone access
AetherFocus may request microphone permission to drive audio-reactive visuals. Input is processed in real time on your device. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. You can deny this permission and the app functions normally.
System audio access
AetherFocus may request Screen Recording permission to read system audio. This lets visual spheres react to audio from other apps. No screen content is captured. The audio stream is processed locally and is never stored or transmitted.
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or transaction details.
No third-party services
AetherFocus does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks.
Children's privacy
Since AetherFocus does not collect data from any user, no special provisions for children under 13 are necessary.
