Permissions

Why does AetherFocus need microphone access?

The microphone drives the visual spheres — they react to live sound like claps, voice, or nearby music. No audio is recorded or stored. You can deny this and the app works fine without it.

Why does it ask for screen recording / system audio?

This lets the spheres react to audio from other apps. macOS bundles this under Screen Recording. AetherFocus does not capture your screen — it only reads the audio stream.

Is AetherFocus on iOS?

Not yet — macOS only for now. iOS is planned.

How do I restore purchases?

Premium content is tied to your Apple ID and restores automatically. If it doesn't appear, check you're signed in with the same Apple ID, then restart the app.

Does it work offline?

Yes. All music, sounds, and visuals are bundled in the app. No internet needed after download.
